At Motel Schmotel Bed and breakfast means just that. Breakfast is prepared daily by our breakfast chefs using fresh, locally sourced produce, made to an award winning standard. A great way to start the day. Simply let us know what your favourite breakfast is and we’ll do the rest. Fancy breakfast in bed? No problem, we’ll prepare and deliver right to your room, piping hot and on time. Feeling more sociable? We’ll have a table ready for you in our breakfast room served by our friendly staff.

Each room has it’s own menu located on your room door. Simply text your order and it will be ready when you are. Breakfast is served between 8.00am and 10.00am daily.
Our breakfast menu includes:
• Egg, thick cut bacon, sausage, home-fries, roasted tomatoes and chilli relish with toast.
• Vegan sausage, home-fries, roasted tomatoes, baked beans with toast (egg or no egg).
• Fish finger sandwich with mayo and
chilli relish on thick crusty bread.
• Kippers and eggs with toast.
• Cornflakes or muesli with milk
and/or yoghurt and fresh fruit.
• Soft boiled eggs with (marmite) soldiers
• Creamy porridge with maple syrup
and fresh fruit.
Cafetiere of fresh coffee.
Tea: Builders/Earl Grey
peppermint/camomile/green/fruit.

Just back from a trip with my sister. This little hotel is quirky and very charming, staff are very pleasant and helpful. Breakfast nice, and the place is spotless. I like the fact that it is a little independently run place and the owners obviously put a great deal of love and effort into their business. Just returned from a weekend at Hotel Schmotel - great room , brilliant breakfast perfect position for the town & local restaurants , no problem with noise , recommend visit the Regency Pub a couple of doors away for a quiet drink. - Travelled as a couple.

“Hotel Schmotel”
We had a sneaky night away, the room was very clean, the bed was very comfortable and the staff were wonderfully friendly and helpful. Breakfasts were delicious. Can highly recommend and we will be back. - Travelled as a couple.

“Cracking Little Place”
Great value for money, "you get what you pay for in this world" room was small but we just wanted a bed for a couple of nights and it was very comfortable. Breakfast was the mutts nuts and you could have it in your room parking in Brighton is not the best but owner has a couple of places at the back of hotel for £10 a night (think that's what I paid) will go back later in the year. - Travelled as a couple.

“Excellent stay”
Well priced, wonderful staff, filling and fresh breakfast and clean rooms! The only negative would be the size of the rooms but myself and my partner found room 9 plentiful for 2. breakfast menu is very vast and very quirky but the lovely staff are more than happy to switch things around for you! - Travelled as a couple.

“Fine stay at a fine establishment”
By bed and breakfast standards this B&B is top notch, especially the breakfast fare which I will put up against the finest hotels actually. Rooms are naturally small but clean. Bathroom was exceedingly small. The folks who run the place are very nice and for the money it cannot be beat. Highly recommend. - Solo guest.
